Henry Josey is a college student, a football player in the SEC - what's said to be the powerhouse of all college football conferences, and he's making his return this year from a serious knee injury back in November 2011. During his sophomore year, Josey suffered a season-ending triple tear of his ACL, MCL, and patellar tendon. Recalling his injury can only make him think of something else during the beginning of his college football career.

Central Methodist University head football coach Jody Ford likes to run tough practices. There's a hill near Davis Stadium that Ford makes the team run from time to time. But Ford is also running up a hill of his own.

NEW RULES FOR A NEW SEASON
Due to concussions and injuries from previous NCAA college football seasons, the NCAA is increasing it's penalties. The NCAA hopes to keep the players safe with the new rules.

STATE SCHOLARSHIPS TILT PLAYING FIELD AGAINST MU IN SEC
A comparative shortage of state-paid scholarships is affecting Mizzou's ability to recruit in sports like baseball, softball, track and field, soccer, and wrestling. These scholarships are not the ones that go to Mizzou basketball and football, but instead are academic scholarships that can go to any students - including top recruits for other sports.

AGING HEARNES CENTER DESTINED FOR CHANGES
The Hearnes Center is a 41-year-old building that serves many more purposes, other than just holding sporting events. But Mizzou's Athletic Director Mike Alden says the building is aging and will need a change in the coming years.
